Ethically handmade from unbleached Sisal fibre, this Plastic Free Non-stick Pan Brush is designed to treat your delicate dishes with care. Sisal, produced from the Agave plant, is a flexible fibre which softens in water, allowing it to gently scrub without scratching surfaces.

Your Non-Stick Pan Brush is a great, long-lasting, sustainable alternative to plastic brushes. It cleans without scratching, is non-toxic and doesn't contain microplastics.

Cleans delicate surfaces without scratching such as non-stick pans and with extra soft sisal fibres for fine porcelain, crystal and glass.

Key features:

🌱 Materials: plant-fibre bristles, sisal fibre – a soft yet strong fibre, galvanised wire, Alstonia timber, non-toxic sealant, cotton cord
🌱 Length: 19cm (Brush Head Length: 8.5cm); Width: 9cm; Depth: 4.5cm
🌱 Origin: Sri Lanka, ethically made with Fair Trade principles
🌱 Non Toxic: the fibres are free of chemical sprays
🌱 Vegan Certified: no hidden animal products

Caring for your brush:

Rinse and place in your dish rack to dry.

Minimising Waste: End of life

Once your dish brush has reached the end of its life, throw it in the compost bin to break down naturally.  The coconut fibres will be eaten by micro-organisms, the timber handle and cotton cord will decompose over time and the remaining wire can be recycled.

Eco Max Brushes are handmade by women in Sri Lanka. They support our women producers by providing sustainable employment, a living wage, flexibility and support to care for their children and a free in-house crèche, meaning these women have financial independence.
